Oil on Gesso Paper (Mat window cut to 6.25x11 inches)

I could hardly contain myself when a friend hiked me in to this new site not far from home but very remote. I was so cold on this blustery November day. My fingers were stubs despite the cumbersome gloves and arctic layers. Happy and cold. Packing out inthe dark I admit to looking over my shoulder for the big coyotes seen on the island. That light. Worth the chase. Can never do anything better than just a reminder of what it was like to be out there as it all was happening.
