Oil on Gesso Paper 9 x 12 inches

November 2021 - I have been chasing the lowering light in recent outings, often working in to the complete darkness, painting several versions (or more) on the same site. It's exhausting, rewarding. The last one is often my pick of the litter when I'm warmed up (also freezing cold), working extra quickly, have shed expectations and am half blind and wide open. Seeing more with dramatically less visibility. Also hungry for dinner!
